Is it vulnerable to the cake card?

Wow, I call that a legendary and possibly rare card. Too bad it'll be all too easy when Prodigal Sorcerer takes care of him.

So... that ability never triggers because blocking is strictly worse than not blocking? Unless you intend for the opponent to be able to block the guards instead? That wouldn't work unfortunately, as blockers would already have been declared.

The opponent does not want the ability to trigger. You continue pinging for 3. Add equipment.

Suddenly you have a 5/3 proc Green/Black that untaps your lands and forces them to discard. [link]

They would then prefer to block and take 4, than lose 5 be down a card.

I don't know, maybe I should make it just one token.

I see. Good thing he has only one toughness.

A single token would probably make the card more interesting to play as it would present your opponent with a dilemma even without equipment (I suspect that not blocking will usually still be better than letting the tokens pile up, but trying to buy time when you have enough blockers to keep the tokens at bay for a while in the hope of drawing removal would be more viable now).
