They would then prefer to block and take 4, than lose 5 be down a card.
I don't know, maybe I should make it just one token.
A single token would probably make the card more interesting to play as it would present your opponent with a dilemma even without equipment (I suspect that not blocking will usually still be better than letting the tokens pile up, but trying to buy time when you have enough blockers to keep the tokens at bay for a while in the hope of drawing removal would be more viable now).
