This card might look underwhelming at first, but wait until you start thinking of combos.

This, Paradox Haze [link] , and Jhora [link] = Blightsteel [link] for 5 mana.

Any suspend combo really.

And you untap, draw, play another land, and get another combat phase...

I forget, but I think the reason we decided on B/U was the draw back, and mostly to avoid reprinting Time Walk.

As you noted, there is nothing underwhelming about getting an extra turn, even if you can't cast spells. This card looks very powerful (for example, Relentless Assault "only" gives you an extra combat phase and costs 2RR).

Thanks! I love the fact that you're making original spells for this set rather than simply dropping the characters in and leaving it at that. My favorite decks are monochrome blue, so Sorceries and Instants are my bread and butter.

Me and a bunch of other guys brainstormed about this for like 45 minutes.

All the info I gave them, was that the art was an hourglass, and we took it from there.

All of these recent cards have been inspired by the art itself.
