Creatures that act as counterspells are always nice. If you cascade into her she will counter your cascade spell.

Playing the card you Cascade into is a may ability, so you don't have to counter your Cascade spell.

Besides which, if you cast a spell with Cascade in response to an opponent's spell and cascade into Trixie, you can counter the opponent's spell instead.
